Our Story
Cyber Syndicate was founded by experienced bug bounty hunters who discovered critical vulnerabilities in major companies like eBay, GM, Yahoo, Dropbox, Netflix, Google, and the U.S. Army. Through this journey, we saw firsthand how traditional penetration testing was broken.
Long procurement cycles, expensive one-time assessments, and months-long waiting periods left organizations vulnerable. We knew there had to be a better way.
So we built Cyber Syndicate — a holding company that operates multiple specialized cybersecurity platforms, with penetration testing as a service at its core. Our retainer model eliminates the friction of traditional security assessments while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Chase is a Carnegie Mellon-trained security practitioner with over a decade of hands-on experience across offensive security, vulnerability research, and security program leadership. His bug bounty work uncovered critical vulnerabilities in organizations including Google, Netflix, eBay, GM, Yahoo, Dropbox, and the U.S. Army.
A Penn State and Carnegie Mellon alumnus who cut his teeth in Pittsburgh’s tech ecosystem, Chase founded Cyber Syndicate to replace slow, opaque security consulting with fast, transparent testing — and personally leads or reviews every engagement.
Chase is backed by a bench of certified testers holding OSCP, CISSP, CREST, and AWS security credentials — the same team behind vCISO.com and VulnerabilityScan.com.
